Sunday 5 September 2010: Maple Syrup Soldiers
Sweet, delicious, and totally Canadian. Shot this at a winery gift shop in the Niagara Falls, Ontario area - Niagara-on-the-Lake, actually (famous for the George Bernard Shaw Festival). Niagara is becoming well known for fine wines and ice wines. We were looking for peach pie (fruit being another famous Niagara product) but got some loose peaches and a bottle of Chardonnay instead.
