Refinery at Night

We took a trip in my brother Dave and Nora's boat for its final trip before they hopefully find a buyer for it. My brother Steve joined us. The five of us started in Anacortes and meandered up to La Conner where we docked and had a yummy dinner. It got dark as we wended our way home. By the time we passed one of the refineries it was quite dark. I tried some high ISO shots first and then decided to do some abstract motion shots. This one was my favorite abstract that resulted. It was a 1 second hand held exposure at ISO 100, f5.7, 61mm.

Check it out in the larger version.
