Stirling Reidos

Holiday Monday

Today was our local Stirling holiday. The kids were off school and I had taken annual leave so we could enjoy the day together.

After our late night last night we had a day close to home.

The day started with a family breakfast round the table. This is a holiday tradition as we are all heading out the door at different times we rarely breakfast together so it is nice to start the day this way.

After breakfast the older children and I cycled to the library whilst Mr R and Fangle made our picnic.

Today was the last day of the season at Briarlands (blip 1, blip 2, blip 3). The day was dry and bright although a wee bit blustery so we headed out there around lunch time with our picnic. Es spent a good part of the afternoon following Fangle around making sure he was OK...so Mr R and I chilled on the tartan rug looking at the clouds and chatting:-)

After Briarlands we put the car through a car wash. It was very exciting;-)

For dinner, the boys wanted to make their own pizzas. The rest of us enjoyed mushroom stroganoff.

I think we have all enjoyed a really busy and varied holiday weekend:-)
