Soul searching

Soul

I used to always know what my future held, because I'm an elaborate planner. These days an economy has changed my future to living day to day with less and less hope for something different. And it's not just my life that is affected by my decisions. My decisions affect all four of us, and I can't see far enough into the future to know if my decisions will be right for ALL of us.

I know something is sucking the life out of (not literally I hope), but I'm not 100 percent sure I know what it is. I have a hint, but I'm afraid if that's not it, then I'd be in big trouble. Family and photography (art in general) keep me sane at least.

I did put a step in one direction but haven't heard back yet. So at this point, I'm in a holding pattern. If it turns out, life will change (hopefully for the better) for us. If it doesn't turn out, then I'm back to square one again with all the questions decisions.

It's raining something awful today, so I only snuck out for a bit to blip some water drops on our taro root plants in the backyard.
