Wednesday 8 September 2010: Books and Beans
If you're from Aberdeen you might know Books and Beans. I love it. It sells second hand books and it feeds you. It's not Starbucks, it's not Pret a Manger; it's not Borders or Waterstones. It's just ace. Long may you prosper and resist the overwhelming homogenisation of our high streets.
(This was my view from their window to day as I tucked into my Victoria Sponge muffin, large cappuccino and Swiss cheese pannino.)
