The Dinosaurs are coming!

Finally, a perfect day - clear, sunny and almost windless. Ideal for camping and beaches!

KiwiD and I took off on a 40K, 2.5 hour ride in training for our event in 2 weeks time. It went well and the scenery was beautiful, but, my camera batteries were flat. Bother ...

After several hill climbs and visiting several bays, we ended up climbing back to the summit road (540m) above (see the road at the top left of the picture). Needless to say, on return we were pretty stuffed!

The afternoon was spent relaxing and playing with the kids. In this photo Nick is off up the estuary chasing dinosaurs,. They found several apparently, one invisible, with my daughter Hannah deciding that it was time to leave.

Yes KiwiD, that is Nick out in front off to fight them!
