Wymes Bay to Rothsay O'
Headed to Bute for the trip that Glasweigans used to call their summer holidays.
We didn't go "Doon the water", but we did take the ferry from Wymes Bay to Rothesay and spent the afternoon exploring the town.
A lovely lunch at the Victoria Hotel in Gilles Bistro on the main front of Rothsay. Their Potato and watercress soup with chopped chives was pretty special.
Home after a leisurely deversion away from road works across the Erskine bridge, we eventually arrived home.
A Biryani for dinner............Oh yes. Food does seem to be featuring highly, doesn't it.
Managed to eventually back blip the birthday weekend.
