Dreich

Two good Scots words to describe the day. Dreich which could describe the weather all day, and a word my father would have approved of, and stottin' as in the rain was stottin' off the road, a word I don't think he would have approved of or used.

Checked the online Scots dictionery and there are many definitions of the word stottin and rebounding is one of them so I'm happy that the rain was indeed stottin off the road although I have now found out how to spell it correctly. ( I would have had "stoatin" which is something completely different and even has a Norwegian meaning.)
