The giant's ring ...

We had to entertain guests today. Therefore, it was a very busy day, cleaning cooking organizing.

Took this blip while waiting for the guests in the drawing room. I don't use a flash but this came out pretty good with the flash ... accidentally. The lights were on in the drawing room but the flash has lighted the ornament and has darkened the background.

Background:

I saw this ornament at a roadside jewelery stall run by an Afghan man and this was the only one he had. This is a huge ring. Yes a ring. I asked him how it is used as no one can wear such a huge ring. So he said that this is just decoration and can be used as a paper weight. I liked it. Bought it at half the price he was quoting and its in our drawing room for the past year or so.
