The Back of the Pope

That's it. I took shots some in the distance as the pope mobile came towards my vantage point, but when it got nearer, I hardy took a shot. I've seen the Pope. Ticked the box. Some people applauded, many took photos, and the remainder gawped. I was a gawper. Up the road (above), some folks had a shout at him.

Home to pack - off for five days doing nautical things on a 38' boat out of Port Edgar. This will hopefully qualify me as a 'Day Skipper'. I've smuggled a bottle of Macallan into my kit - that's the syllabus for my own 'Overnight Skipper'
