Thursday 16 September 2010: The Day the Pope Came to Town
I'm fairly neutral on the whole Papal visit thing. I don't feel the need to protest, but nor do I particularly want to be distupted and pay for it. He may be a head of state, but it's only a city state so it seems like a lot of fuss relative to it's importance to the UK. I suppose I vaguely feel that it's a load of Papal Bull*
A very long day at work today. Very tired. Off to eat my dinner.
* Definition: Papal bull: a formal proclamation issued by the pope (usually written in antiquated characters and sealed with a leaden bulla)
