Saturday 2 October 2010: The Thatched House
A Proper Pub!
Just down the road from me...
The original building was of cruck construction with a thatched roof replaced(building and all) in 1906.
Still very much a hub-bub of Village life, day and night, next door to St Chad's Church (no doubt a future blip) Boddingtons ales have been sold here since 1895 and many a Guest beer since.
