Saturday 2 October 2010: Bi-Cycle Day
Two seperate bike events today - in the morning the Town Hall Cross organization sponsored their first cyclocross. It was also the first cyclocross I attended and was amazed at the endurance required by the riders to race 45 minutes up hills, over hurdles, on grass, gravel and blacktop. Later in the afternoon at the Moravian Academy Country we saw this 400-pound seven-passenger tricycle known as the 'Conference Bike' owned by Bob Swaim. We later got to ride in it!
