Is that it then?

Er no, but it could be the end of the beginning part of my documentation of the construction of a wind turbine farm, and this is how it happened:-

1. Dig a big hole in the ground.

2. Put in a layer of concrete and then a lot of steel reinforcing.

3. Add a lot more concrete.

4. Lower a cage on top of the protruding steels, connect everything up and shutter ready for yet more concrete.

5. And there you have it.

Number 5 is what today's blip looked like two weeks ago, before they filled in the surround with stone and earth.

Our dog Jasper isn't sure, but he thinks he can smell a turbine coming. Oh, and that's our finca on the top of the hill.
