Classic Reflections

The Cadaques church is the cubist culmination of an impressive pile of, well, cubes that have somehow 'fallen' on top of each other to make up one the most photographed and painted views in the whole of Spain.

It's hard to find a new take on it and a reflection in a window hardly counts, but I thought this shot was ok as it combined not only the classic church view but also the deep blue much used on Cadaques window and door frames, as well as the characteristic slats of the persianas or slatted blinds - a bit of a Cadaques compendium!

The sky is tossing between sun burst and thunder cloud - we may get soaked on our afternoon walk round the coast to the north.
