Spiral

Spent this afternoon with environmental Land Artist Richard Shilling in Salthill Quarry nature reserve creating weird and wonderful abstract art from natural materials and natures colours. My good friend Anne Kingston put me onto it. We finished off by creating a giant stone spiral. Something primaeval in our long forgotten pasts stirs in you when you do this sort of activity.
