Wednesday 13 October 2010: Asahi Pentax Spotmatic....
New toy and the was the Camera of my dreams in 1964, when I was 12 years old and a member of the Grange Secondary Modern Photographic Club. My Dad couldn't really afford one of these babies so I ended up with a Kowa SE which wasn't a true SLR but it did produce good pictures.
I found this on Ebay for £33 plus postage and the seller through in a 70-150mm Hoya telephoto lens. I am well chuffed, I will be putting a film through it ASAP a B&W as I have one in my bag, but first I have to change the 1.35v Mercury Battery for the light meter.
