Light the Night Walk

Tonight we participated in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Light the Night walk for the first time. It was a truly awesome experience. There were thousands of people from all age groups. Each carrying a balloon of either red for support, white for survivorship, or gold in memory of someone. The balloons in this photo are the ones my hubby and I carried. We are both cancer survivors (2 times for me!) so he carried a white one and I carried a gold in rememberance of my Dad. I would love to be able to do this again sometime.
