Friday 15 October 2010: Having a Ball
Well the 25th Anniversary Ball of the Trinity in the Fylde Hospice took place at The Hilton Hotel Blackpool and was a resounding success. A black tie event with all the ladies turning up in their silver and sparkle, dresses very long and some short.

Avocado and Fresh Prawn salad,lightly bound in a citrus salad
Chicken breast wrapped in parma ham with fondant potato
Sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce and Chantilly cream
Selection of local cheese,biscuits,grapes and celery
Coffee and Mints
There was a lounge singer, an after-dinner singer, a band (Touch the pearl), Dj and Compere Hayley Kay from Radio Wave. Various fundraising events went on through the night and a huge auction including a signed Man Utd football (went for £400), holiday to the Hilton Sharks Bay (have stayed there-it's fab), and London Ritz package to name but a few of the things up for grabs.
On insider information I am led to believe the event raised £10,000 !!
As for which photo to blip,I struggled I had some really good ones of the room all dressed in silver and sparkle with gorgeous table centrepieces BUT this is my favourite, of Richard (don't call me Dick) Turpin letting his hair down....having a ball.
