Monday 18 October 2010: Blackpool
A repeat of last year as I have again taken my mother (now wheelchair bound) to Blackpool to see the illuminations.
Had to take a quick picture after dinner but I deserve a medal for this one. Its wet. its blowing a gale and its cold. Wore a baseball cap to protect me from the rain but it nearly ended up in the sea. A helpful passer-by ran to retrieve it for me. The tripod was also getting blown about a bit on the long exposure.
If its like this tomorrow night I may have to give it a miss ... then again would I really miss my Blip for the sake of a force 8 gale?!
