Brockholes Cathedral

Well not quite. This is the unfinished structure of the Lancs Wildlife Trust's education centre at the £8m wetland nature reserve development at Jnc 31 M6. The Fund I manage is putting £500,000 intothe site part of which is the education centre. Even as an unfinished works it is impressive. The roof is that high and steep it has the feeling of a house of worship. I was on the site this afternoon showing round a group of colleagues who help me assess the projects we give grants to. For more about the site have a look here. This is just one of similar designed building on a floating pontoon on one of the conservation lakes on the site.
