Reflecting on.........

.........an awesome holiday in Townsville. What a great and relaxing time we have had, great family time, time to ourselves (essential!!) seeing new places, lots of photography, two books read, lots of meals out, lots of sleep, and last night cocktails....get this "Black Forest Cocktail" - yummo, and I could still contribute to the cooking of dinner!!...just :)

This morning after breakie out (again, a habit I enjoy) we did some shopping - shoes, earrings, top, beads & some clothing for Doug...some good buying to be had.

Then we went to the Ross River to find some water lillies....this we did, but the reflections here were quite stunning and have chosen this over the flowers today. This beautiful river meanders through Townsville and has walks along both sides....a tranquill and beautiful place to spend some time.

Doug is out mowing the lawns and I shortly will do the floors and prepare dinner, we are having a visitor for dinner tonight....then it will be time to go pick up son from work.....he now has a black fibreglass cast on his leg, I though he should paint a silver fern on it!!!

Tomorrow morning we start our journey home, arriving in the early hours of sunday morning. Fortunately, it is a long weekend in NZ (Labour Day on Monday) so no work until Tuesday....I'm going to do that hard for sure.

All good things come to a end.
