Friday 22 October 2010: Camping amongst the cables
These are the reels of cable waiting to be buried in the trenches along side the new road, and which will connect all twenty-four or so wind turbines, and onto the sub-station.
Last night and today they form part of a camp site for World Rally enthusiasts, with a section of Rally Catalunya passing a couple of kilometres from us.
We walked to our chosen spot to watch the race early this morning, in the cloud although the sun had appeared by midday, and I took this photo as we walked back home for lunch.
