Monday 25 October 2010: On the beach
Just after 8 this morning the sun peeped over the clouds radiating a surreal light across the sky. The temperature was 0 degrees and the sand was crisply frosty underfoot. The sea was rough and must have been warmer than the air temperature ( I didn't venture in to check ) as there was a mist hovering just above the waves. It was cold - but rather beautiful - and was the harbinger of a lovely day.
