Went off to the woods tonight to see if I could watch badgers. There is a huge sett and I had been there an hour and was anticipating some movement when a chap and his daughter with two terriers came shouting and crashing through the wood - ah me, better luck next time. So I was left with a few earlier dusk photos of rutting stags and fall back on this snail that was winding its way up some grass.
