Bye Bread Bye

A few weeks ago I blipped my local bakery.

I had heard that the owners could not sell it on and needed to retire. Today I saw the machinery being broken up for scrap metal as the building will now be turned into four flats.

This is the loaf machine that is the last thing to be taken apart and scraped before the building work starts.

The man worked at the bakers for years, I would often see him loading up the vans at six in the morning.

It is a real shame nobody could take it over, will probably end up full of students now, the buns were good too!
