Since 28th July 2010 my journal has been documenting the construction of a wind farm in the Terra Alta region of Catalunya, Spain. We own and live in a Mas (finca) which is on the line of the wind turbines, and will have two of the beasts within 300 metres of our home.

Obviously I've fiddled with the colour here, but it's such a grey, dreary day that I just had to. Zoomed and there was a wind blowing... ah well, there would be wouldn't there!
Two lorry loads carrying several control gear packages arrived last night, plus a couple more nosecones, and this morning they are offloading one of each per wind turbine site. The control gear goes right at the bottom of the turbine within the first mast section. This one is the turbine right behind us.
