Friday 29 October 2010: Blip Of The Week

Hi chums

Thank Goodness It's Friday... and that means it's Blip Of The Week... and this week we've chosen this photograph from twa craws feet. We felt this image really captured the drama and excitement of the burning bales, especially the headlights of the tractor caught in the smoke.

As the great photographer Don Mc Cullin said of his images of burning fields near his home in his 1979 portfolio Homecoming: 'It's very pretty from a distance, but it conjures up all kinds of menacing thoughts. It's like a scorched earth policy of an army, or an old movie of the Ku Klux Klan'

Well this image certainly does that, especially in 'big'
