Colwith Force

It spanked it down with rain over night and every stream became a torrent and every river a flood. We cut our loses and headed east over Hardknott pass and Wrynose pass (scary 1in 3 gradients and more hairpins that a salon ) to Elterwater for short wet walk to see one of my favourite waterfalls in spate. Did the shops in Ambleside and met two people that I know by chance. Can't take me anywhere.
