Ma soeur est chez moi! Ma soeur est chez moi!

My sister is home from the University of Alabama for the weekend. It is a 9 hour drive, so she doesn't come home often.

We made dinner tonight. She has culinary aspirations (and is quite good), so I let her handle the heavy lifting (i.e. grilling the steaks). What you see was my domain: BRUSSELS SPROUTS and SAUTEED SPINACH with MUSHROOMS. I have always loved my vegetables---even the ones that are known for being gross. It was yummy.

We will be carving pumpkins in the next 48 hours. I REALLY hope I can do something that is worth photographing. Thanks to Martha Stewart, I have a really cool template to use. I will post a pic ASAP!
