Saturday 30 October 2010: Elegance
Just home from a day trip to Riverstone - north of Oamaru.
Amazing complex of restaurant, gardens, aviary, chooks, goats, a supreme peacock and three gift shops to blow the mind.
Lovely lunch of asparagus rissotto drizzled with lemon infused olive oil.
Home via Kakanui coast and Karitane and evening meal at Hydro on the Esplanade where I had the very best spagetti napolitana since leaving Melbourne.
Tired and looking forward to getting horizontal...........so here is todays blip....taken at Riverstone restaurant whilst enjoying a damn good coffee albeit in a very small cup.!!
