Beach Boots

We've had a lovely day at the beach.

While Mr Blogs went off to rediscover his youth with a bike on a big hill, the rest of us headed to Tin of Ham Beach for a wander and a picnic.

Colddogs (not hot hotdogs - if you see what I mean) coffee and chocolate brownies were served in the warm sunshine while Miss Blogs got her shoes and socks of to let the sand get between her toes. It felt positively springlike.

As usual we had the beach to ourselves save for one or two dogs strollers and fisherman

I'm really looking forward to going there during a big storm - now that would be something.

Home for a classic weekend Saturday night. Nice nosh, G&T and a big film.
