Friday 23 November 2007: Root reminder...
...I had hoped to make my debut with a dramatic entrance...a dull, overcast, uninspiring day has put paid to that...I did try to pick myself up with a walk around the local area with my camera.
When I got back to the boat, which is in a marina in Santa Pola, where we are hiding from a storm that is about to hit, the only picture that made me smile was this one.
It seems that no matter how far you travel there is always something that can transport your mind home in an instant.
On reflection, I think that on the whole this is a great thing. Whilst I am on the run from a hectic and unfulfilling life, there are some very special memories which I am happy to have.
