Another new day

Here is Winger, the fourth of our four hens we have at the moment. She and her brother the Cockerel were hatched from eggs on the farm. The Maran Cockerel grew large and handsome but unfortunately became more aggressive with his good looks until even his wives disliked him. So he was recently taken out - he didn't land up in our cooking pot. Winger carries on, so called because she makes a wingeing sound and lays the smallest eggs out of the four.
