Wednesday 3 November 2010: One of those ...
monochrome days.
Had to wear a coat. Wished I'd brought gloves.
These swans (and their just outside-of-the-frame kid) were doing their best to avoid me, but had to swim through the only ray of sunshine on the pond to escape. HA! They had no choice but to look pretty.
Shortly after going to bed last night I heard noises outside, but didn't investigate. This morning our mailbox was down, but in better shape than the one from the people on the corner which is completely demolished. "Mailbox baseball", the Beloved said. "Sumbitches!", is what I said. So after the Great Pumpkin Theft of 2010, we now have this. And it's usually such a nice quiet neighbourhood :/
Feeling a little bleh.
But we're going to see Fred Eaglesmith in South Haven sunday. VERY much looking forward to that :)
