Monday 8 November 2010: Fleeing the unwelcome attention
It was glove and hat weather down there this morning - so cold and windy - but the rain hasn't arrived yet. I am still defrosting. The oystercatcher didn't want to be caught so off he flew leaving me to my own devices. No wet feet today - I forgot to replace the spare trainers as they were still drying out from yesterday but I had my waterproof walking boots in the car - how's that for preparation? ( Actually, they live in the boot as there is nowhere else for them to go! )
