It's Fffreezing!

On our way down to EASY the salvage yard in Leith to get a chimney pot for the patio, I noticed this person standing in the river.
You can tell by the shocked look in his eyes that he hadn't expected it to be so cold, although other parts of his body obviously hadn't yet become acclimatised to the freezing water flowing round his nether regions.
He seemed oblivious to the flotsam that had gathered rounds his legs or to the bird's christening mark on his head.

I must admit that for a moment I thought it might be EcoDad standing there, just as as he had promised and planned all these months ago, but since he had vowed to wear a wet suit for the occasion, I realised it must be a genuine Arthur Gormley statue.
This is the first one I've actually seen in the flesh casting, all the other images have been on numerous blips. I aplogise for adding to the library, but in lieu of the horrible weather and the sundry other things which have passed the time today, this blip will have to suffice.

His lordship has gone to the land of blue and yellow on a mission and I am waiting for a school friend to come and view the Dower House for the first time. It could perhaps have been sunny and enticing outside instead of dark and cold with showers of sleet and trees no longer aglow with autumn leaves, but looking wet and dank. However it is another opportunity for a chat over coffee and cake.

EDIT: Out of focus has blipped this guy's twin standing at Stockbridge.
