Thursday 11 November 2010: In Flanders Fields
A very moving Remembrance Service this morning at my children's School, presented by Year 6 (my Twins class) and overseen by their soulful teacher Mr Brooks. Our eldest son James recited the poem In Flanders Fields, introduced by his younger brother (by 2 minutes) George.
At close the images and facts had brought tears to everyones eyes.
The Head Teacher asked if we could place our poppies outside around the flagpole, Union Jack hoisted high.
Here are some.
