It's that time of the year !

Every year Sint Nicolaas comes all the way from Spain to Holland to gives presents and gingerbread-cookies to the children (Dutch Tradition!)
On December 5th, at night, Sint Nicolaas travels over the roofs and drops the presents and cookies through the chimneys!

And today I was invited at Elmers school for a Sint Nicolaas-party.
The Sint and his Pete's (they were black) brought for every child a little poem and present.

We spent a very nice afternoon, with laughing and singing, Elmer enjoyed very much!!
After that we had a nice meal at the Elmer's House.


Here you see Elmer dress up as a black Pete, and I think he looks great!
