Remembrance Sunday

Last night I watched the Festival of Remembrance on the BBC, broadcast live from the Royal Albert Hall. As the poppies fell from the heights during the two minute silence there could not have been a dry eye at home. However, amongst the representatives of the serving forces in Afghanistan gathered there in the arena, there was not a tear in sight; such is their pride, such is their resolution. Bless them all.
