Near Minden

This oil painting from the 1960s hangs in our living and reminds us of a place we like to visit and of Canadian winter scenes in general. It's by a river in Minden, Ontario up in cottage country. The artist is listed as Moore White and it was exhibited in a show once back when it was new. We picked it up at an antiques show at a mall. It's not worth anything but the joy it brings us by brightening up the room.
