Brockholes Development

This is the Brockholes Wetland Reserve visitor centre taking shape. It is £6m development with an education centre, conference centre, restaurant etc which will all float on lake within a reedbed. The roofs have gone on all the buildings and some poor bugger(s) have to nail on 750,000 oak roofing shakes! I've been out to discuss with the project manager amending our nearly £1/2m grant towards the project. I don't normally do overly assertive I am a more pragmatic character but I've had to take a tough stance on how our cash will be spent. Iron fist in a velvet glove approach I find works best.
