A bit of wool and nonsense.
A wonderful evening of new friends, felt flowers, felt bags and a touch of spinning lessons. I even tried some hand "spindle spinnng". I have caught the bug.
A visit to St.Abbs to "The" wool shop seems to be of the cards.
These dreads, are dyed fleece that need carded and spun. Cath did have some natural fleece that had some blue dye in it, which she said was the number that the sheep was marked with, which was interesting.
My project was showing them how to make felt flowers. I think they all enjoyed it as much as I did.
Where are my knitting needles? I need to get started again.
