Cosiness

This shot was inspired by Amalarian's interiors series. I started out trying to capture the sea reflected in the mirror on the right. I'll have a go at that another day when the view outside is not quite so bleak.

I had the luxury of turning my back on that today as I didn't have to go out in the gloom and rain. I've had all the house lights on since morning. And gotten around to all the cleaning and admin that have been neglected since the flu a month ago. So easy to lose the plot, so hard to catch up with myself, and so very satisfying when I do.
