Saturday 27 November 2010: White and pink world
We woke to several more inches of snow and a bitter wind from the East - it's freezing. We decided to walk to the shop in the village for the papers - the roads are pretty treacherous despite being gritted. The dawn light was lovely but the appearance of the sun didn't really lift the temperature. Back home now with the heating on and a mug of hot tea warming my hands. It's lovely looking out of the window at the snow!
