Leaf(t) out in the cold.

This is my first blip with our new SLR.

Very pleased with the camera indeed. An Olympus E600, best value for the budget we had.

Very cold here today, -9 C last night and not much warmer this morning.

So, great weather to be getting used to an new SLR, lots of light challenges. Had a few I could have chosen but decided in this one.

The reason? Could never have achieved this with my iPhone. the frost on this was stunning, it looked like tiny clear thorns on the apple tree.

I was getting used to the camera this morning while kids were in our bed watching a film, they all woke quite early. Typical weekend behaviour from our lot!!

-10 forecast tonight so wont be going far.
