Spirthill #4

The snow finally reached Wiltshire overnight, but it was only a light powdering and was mostly gone by lunchtime. It was very cold and grey however, never rising above freezing all day.

I went over to west Spirthill to look at the view down Charlcutt Hill and beyond which is turning into a series. It is where I plan to go when we get a proper snowfall, but today the major change is just the encroaching wintryness. To accentuate the lack of colour I experimented with another image of the scene and gave it The Sepia Treatment.

Last time I blippedthis view, there was a request for more foreground, so I have modified the viewpoint a little to include more.
