Saturday 27 November 2010: Papa's Tortelli

We decided to do a christmas trial run today as we will be making tortelli as part of the christmas banquet. Me and the baby watched papa spin the handle on the pasta maker rolling out sheets of velvety egg pasta, he cut out rounds and stuffed them with walnuts and mushroom filling mixed with lots of parmesan cheese. When he dished them he poured over hot toast coloured butter with sage leaves and more helping of cheese.
