Vintage 2009

Today no (attempt to an) artistic picture.

I proudly present to you the Vintage 2009, which we bottled today:
- the Fonkelnei (Brand-new in our local dialect, a cuvee of Solaris and Johanniter varietals)
- the Uutblinker (Outstanding in local dialect, a cuvee of various muscat grapes)
- an unnamed (and unfortunately virtually undrinkable) red, that as the only positive note has a deep purple color.

I planted a vineyard in 2007 and did some extensions afterwards. With 200 vines of different varietals, mostly whites, we attempt to make wines that are not only drinkable, but a pleasure to drink.
We work in Northerly climes on soil that has too much acidity, So we have set ourselves a challenge, so to speak.

Enfin, today was a milestone and a joy.
