This is the mudguard for my 1975 Raleigh Bermuda.

It's amazing what you can claw your way back to with rusty chrome - the rust sits on top and can be scraped off using steel wool and/or a sharp knife - you just have to use something that is harder than the rust and softer than the chrome - so no sandpaper.

I've managed to get the three speed hub working nicely, the chrome polished and am planning to use this as my main city bike this summer.
